I believe the Kindle version identified as Vintage International is the correct book. I have read other books by Shute, and have wanted to read On the Beach for some time.

He used his full name in his engineering career and Nevil Shute as his pen name to protect his engineering career from inferences by his employers or fellow engineers that he was not a serious person or from potential negative publicity in connection with his novels, which included On the Beach and A Town Like Alice.
